La Farmhouse is created, & designed by Tina Marie.—I’m passionate about preservation, antiquing, design, beauty, wellness, gardening, fashion, history, literature, sustainable living, and animal advocacy. My old home has become a new beginning, an a sanctuary for me, and I’m on a journey creating a life, that I love.

A B O U T L A F A R M H O U S E La Farmhouse draws it’s name, and styles from my French, Swedish, & Eastern European heritages.— Inspired from a farmhouse that I had once lived in. La Farmhouse was Created, & Established in the Winter of 2009. The Creativity begins from the Femininity of an Old Chippy White Farmhouse, Antiquing, Gardening, Petite Chateau, and Slow Bohémienne Living. ~with inspirations from The Nineteen Thirty’s Farmhouse, Ayurveda, Hue Winter, Lilacs, Period Dramas, Faded Glamour, and Bohémienne Chic. As a small business La Farmhouse is continuously adapting, and changing.

Currently, La Farmhouse is Established in a Nineteen Twenty, Petite Colonial, Saltbox House.—I ‘m living near a lakeside beach in a older neighborhood, within a small northern town, with charms. I’m living simply, from the beauty of the old, and within the imperfections of the old house. I’m updating her slowly, and as I can, with diy, room painting, gardening, and thrifting. She will also, need some professional work done to her, in her near future.

A B O U T M E I’ve always been creative, artistic, and a lover of flowers, parisienne styles, and in the beauty of the old.—I’m living my life now, from my forever home that I adore. To me—in finding her, is a blessing for me, and I often reference her as ‘the old house.’ and in ‘old house living.’ I’m working on artwork, a novel, short stories, children books, design, thrifted collections, with some new Items, and Interior design, and gardening. I’m also, doing everything much more slowly than before, and this is because I need to walk with a cane, from a Injury that is a disability for me. I’m working on my brocante, wellness routines, and the old house. Also, I have a sassy dog named Fleur, a college attending son, and a grown married daughter.
